Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform. Cloud Operations: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency. Automation & CI/CD: Develop automation scripts and pipelines using tools like Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, or GitHub Actions. Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for security, identity management, and compliance (IAM, VPC, encryption, logging). Observability & Monitoring: Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana). Incident Management: Respond to and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and fast recovery. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, DevOps teams, and security teams to support cloud-based applications. Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for cloud infrastructure and automation processes. What You’ll Bring

5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, SSM, SSO, etc.). Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. Experience with cloud operations, monitoring, and incident response. Familiarity with Linux systems administration and scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell). Strong knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancing, Security Groups). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Nice to have

Experience with one of the following: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, Rust. Experience with AWS MGN, DRS, Migration Factory. AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.). Experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, or other container orchestration tools. Experience with RDS, Managed MSSQL, PostgreSQL. About Us

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $109,000 to $148,000 for Consultant level and $125,000 to $170,000 for Senior Consultant level. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
