Sr. Technical Architect, L&D, Kuiper Production Operations

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network, delivering fast, reliable internet to customers and communities worldwide. We are seeking a Learning and Development Leader to drive talent development initiatives across our Production Operations teams. The Sr. Technical Architect will create innovative learning ecosystems, partner with front line leaders to develop technical training plans, and establish career development frameworks that support Kuiper's rapid growth and evolving technological landscape. Key responsibilities include: Develop and execute Learning and Development initiatives that align with Kuiper goals and technological roadmap. Design, develop, and implement comprehensive learning solutions and training programs for employees. Design and implement scalable learning ecosystems for rapid workforce growth and evolving skill requirements. Create a comprehensive career development framework for all levels, from hourly technicians to senior leadership. Establish strategic partnerships with Amazon peers and industry experts to build talent pipelines and foster innovation in learning experiences. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and ROI measurements for learning and development initiatives, demonstrating impact on business outcomes. Drive a culture of continuous learning and innovation throughout the organization while measuring success and developing best practices. Basic Qualifications: Experience as a trainer and ability to manage a classroom of learners. 5+ years of program or project management experience. 5+ years of developing and delivering training cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams. Experience building quicksight dashboards. Experience working with and delivering instructor-led training/information to all levels of employees. Master's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience. Proven track record of developing, implementing, and scaling learning strategies in high-growth, technology-driven organizations. Demonstrated success in using data analytics to drive learning strategy and demonstrate business impact. Preferred Qualifications: Quantitative master's degree or relevant experience. Detail-oriented, excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, especially narrative writing. Previous Operations Management experience strongly preferred, as well as experience with business intelligence and analytics. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Proven experience in corporate learning and development. Experience working with managers in implementing, streamlining, or automating systems and processes. Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems. Proficient in industry-standard Learning Management Systems. Ability to prioritize, be curious, and deliver results in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment.
