Overview
Senior Business Systems Analyst, Enterprise Systems at OpenTable. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will join the Enterprise Systems Team within the Technology Operations organization to help build and deliver projects that increase business efficiency, automate global business processes, and support finance partners. This is a hybrid 2x/week in-office position. Work involves providing system improvements and operational support for monthly financial close cycles, with flexible hours to coordinate global tasks and teams. In This Role, You Will
Monitor system performance across multiple financial applications, maintain system documentation, provide administrative support, and assist with bug fixes and future enhancements. Collaborate with finance and engineering to understand functional requirements, implement systems, and execute end-to-end integration testing. Ensure accuracy and alignment with partner requirements and oversee user acceptance testing. Develop system domain expertise, identify opportunities for process improvements, analyze requests, and determine partner needs to solve problems. Ensure incidents are resolved efficiently and in a timely manner. Learn and use tools such as NetSuite, Salesforce, SoftCo, Expensify, Celigo, Nolan, and other custom applications and integrations. Ensure compliance and control requirements, especially when handling sensitive financial data and supporting IT SOX audits. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably with an engineering/technical background. 3+ years of finance systems experience. Technical experience with financial systems such as ERP, AP Automation, AR, Travel and Expense, Enterprise O2C, R2R, P2P integration platforms. Previous experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred. Experience supporting monthly financial close and knowledge of order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, data governance, and control requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
