We are hiring a full-time Hospice Clinical Director to join our care team with Hospice Services of Massachusetts in the Haverhill area. Salaried role with weekly pay. We aim to nurture your skills and help you grow within the company. The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall direction of hospice clinical services. The Clinical Director establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote quality standards and contribute to the organization and philosophy. Experience & Education

Must hold an active and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts and have a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Prior hospice experience required. Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Provide guidance and counseling to RN Case Managers and Clinical Supervisors to continually improve hospice care services. Assist Clinical Supervisors in managing clinical teams and planning. Assist with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family/caregiver care among clinical personnel. Assist the Executive Director/Administrator in budget preparation and administration. Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes and variations that could impact staffing, revenues, or expenses. Evaluate the performance of Clinical Supervisors and RN Case Managers. AssistClinical Supervisors to develop skills in evaluating clinicians’ performance. Conduct annual evaluations on clinicians (or more frequently if indicated). Oversee maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records for evaluation and reporting of organizational activities; ensure compliance with laws. Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment for patient services. Develop, implement, and evaluate the orientation program for new personnel and lead orientation as needed. Plan and implement inservice and continuing education programs to meet training needs. Support evaluation of organizational performance via performance improvement programs and ensure quality and safe delivery of hospice services. Participate in development of organization goals and administer policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal licensure and certification requirements.
