Solutions Architect
to play a key role in our Revenue Team in NYC. If that’s you, and making a difference gets you out of bed in the morning, keep reading. It could be the start of something, well, extraordinary.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with customer and partner engineering teams.
Lead discovery sessions to understand integration requirements and map them to Spark API / MCP capabilities.
Provide hands-on guidance for API authentication, endpoint usage, data structures, error handling, and performance optimization.
Conduct onboarding workshops and build technical enablement materials (SDKs, quick-start guides, sample code).
Architect integration patterns that align with client workflows and product capabilities.
Collaborate with product and engineering to propose API enhancements and new endpoints based on integration needs.
Ensure integrations meet scalability, security, and reliability standards.
Design reusable modules and templates for common integration scenarios.
Track API usage growth within accounts and identify upsell opportunities (usage-based tiers, premium features).
Troubleshoot and resolve integration blockers to accelerate go-live timelines.
Partner with customer success and account teams to ensure integrations deliver measurable business outcomes.
Represent the voice of the integrator in product roadmap discussions.
Document and share integration best practices internally.
Collaborate with marketing to develop case studies and technical showcases highlighting successful Spark API / MCP integrations.
What you bring
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant with a focus on APIs, SaaS platforms, or developer ecosystems.
Proven experience designing and delivering complex API integrations in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of REST API design, authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT), and data formats (JSON, XML).
Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to both developers and business stakeholders.
Track record of driving product adoption and technical success across multiple customers or partners.
Attitude: willingness to learn, think big, ask why, and show respect to everyone at every level.
Interview process Preliminary phone call with the Talent Team (no video required). First video interview with the hiring managers. Second video interview with the hiring panel, often including a presentation, followed by a values conversation with members of the wider GWI community. Other stages may be part of the plan for some roles.
