Zscaler . Overview The Zscaler Sales Engineering team is seeking a results-driven and strategic Director, Enterprise East to lead the Enterprise East sales engineering organization. This role reports to the Senior Director, Sales Engineering Enterprise Americas and is responsible for building and guiding a high-performing team, shaping technical strategy, and driving customer success in alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities Recruiting, mentoring, and building a world-class team of sales engineering directors, managers, and individual contributors Collaborating with sales leadership and clients to develop and execute winning segment and account-level strategies; owning the technical sales motion from start to finish Refining and scaling core sales engineering processes to ensure consistency and efficiency Acting as a key technical leader and executive sponsor for strategic customers and partners; representing Zscaler at industry events, forums, and executive briefings Driving the technical strategy that positions our solutions as essential to the customer's long-term business objectives Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or related field or equivalent experience 10+ years in technical, customer-facing roles with at least 5 years of experience leading teams, including multiple lines of management Proficient in selling network security technologies including SSL/web technologies, proxies, caches, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPNs, DLP, antivirus, spam, spyware solutions, and end-user monitoring Travel to support teams and engage with customers up to 40% Preferred Qualifications Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA, CISSP, or CCSP Hands-on leadership, with the ability to engage directly with strategic accounts to secure technical wins Deep understanding of complex, multi-year sales cycles and expertise in value-based storytelling Additional Information Zscaler’s base pay range for this role is
$183,750 - $262,500 USD , excluding commission/bonus/equity where applicable plus benefits. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across US locations and may vary based on skills, experience, and education.
