Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector for an aerospace military defense machine shop. The role involves inspecting parts using micrometers and calipers, and requires familiarity and knowledge of AS9102 forms 1-3.

Responsibilities

Inspect aerospace parts using micrometers and calipers.

Complete AS9102 forms 1-3 accurately.

Conduct 1st article inspections to ensure quality standards.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.

Essential Skills

Proficient in inspection and quality control.

Experience with calipers and micrometers.

Knowledge of AS9102 forms 1-3.

At least 3 years of experience as a quality inspector in a manufacturing company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the aerospace industry.

Ability to work as a team player in a small team of 6-8.

Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.

Work Environment

The position is based in an aerospace machine shop. The quality department operates independently but closely collaborates with other departments. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interdepartmental cooperation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
