Overview
Founding Farmers Restaurant Group is seeking a Lead Head Host with restaurant experience to join the Hospitality Team. We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working in a high-volume, full-service restaurant as a Reservation Coordinator, Head Host, or Host Manager. Weekend availability is a must, and OpenTable experience is a plus. Responsibilities
Manage restaurant reservations and wait lists to accurately set guest expectations Manage and monitor the restaurant's reservation system using OpenTable Answer the restaurant phone and provide friendly service for all guest and call center inquiries Greet and seat guests at their table, providing exceptional hospitality Assist guests in making reservations Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and friendly manner Assist with parking validation Provide directions and recommendations if guests inquire Support the service staff by removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters and taking them to the dishwasher Set up dining areas to prepare for large parties and brunch buffet Perform duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, tidying up the server station, taking out trash, and checking bathrooms Be punctual and maintain regular, consistent attendance Contribute to a positive team environment Other important tasks, as assigned, that keep guest operations running smoothly Qualifications
Full-service restaurant experience is required Previous experience with a Restaurant Reservation System (e.g., OpenTable or Resy) is a must Weekend availability Must be 18 years old due to service of alcohol Ability to create a hospitable environment for both guests and staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to learning our menu and operations Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms Benefits
