The role includes clinical work and a strong emphasis on dental care with in-house support and ongoing training. Responsibilities
Deliver gold-standard care for preventive and wellness care Diagnose illness, provide medical treatment in a Fear Free environment, and offer advanced diagnostics (e.g., ultrasound and endoscopy) to support acute and chronic disease patients Provide advanced dental care and oral surgery, supported by intraoral radiology and trained staff Perform a wide range of general soft tissue surgeries (e.g., mass removals, foreign body surgeries, pyometra, cystotomy) Collaborate with a team of veterinarians with interests in internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and preventive care Advance clinical skills with support from experienced doctors and access to in-clinic and offsite training opportunities Qualifications
DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school Licensed or license-eligible to practice in Maryland 2+ years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred Competency in surgical and dental skills preferred Strong teamwork and commitment to delivering excellent patient care Benefits
Competitive base salary of
$120,000 – $160,000 , plus a percentage of production Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus
