Specialty services include 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport, and high-risk perinatal care. It hosts the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center and offers community programs such as the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center. The OB/GYN Outpatient Clinic provides comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care and is among Hawai‘i’s most comprehensive centers for women’s health. Responsibilities
As a Patient Service Representative in our OB/GYN Outpatient Clinic, you will help ensure that patients and their families receive warm, friendly, and considerate assistance by acting as a liaison between patients of all ages and the professional staff, typically performing a combination of clerical, reception, and business duties. We are seeking someone who is sensitive and helpful, with excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people. Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. One (1) year clerical support in a position with public contact or related experience. Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Health Administration or related field. Medical terminology course. One (1) year experience in a physician’s office or outpatient clinic setting.
