Who We Are Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.
As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.
What You Will Be Doing As an early Neros employee, you will help decide the direction of our future. We are looking for someone with expert knowledge of RF systems to help develop the next generation of drones. Your work will involve creating innovative RF system designs with engineering challenges—from supporting end-to-end design from conception, through qualification, certification, and production testing.
You should have the following
MS or PhD degree with relevant experience in electrical engineering/signal processing, physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or related technical discipline, with 5+ years of industry experience
A strong background in digital signal processing or communication theory
Proven ability to develop, define, design, and implement signal processing solutions in complex systems
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation of complex ideas
Strong Python programming skills
Ability to collaborate across software, hardware, and other teams
US Salary Range $150,000 - $225,000 USD
The salary is an estimate based on various compensation factors. Actual salary may vary based on experience, education, skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are part of the total compensation package.
Additional Information We’re an equal opportunity employer. We welcome all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.
