Senior Systems Engineer - Integration and Test Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Systems Engineer to serve as the Integration & Testing (I&T) Manager for the Airspace and Surface Radar Reconnaissance (ASRR) system. The I&T Manager will oversee the ASRR Systems Integration Lab (SIL), configuration management, and the successful integration and testing of ISR systems including sensors and communications technologies for military ground platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the U.S. Army, foreign military clients, and internal engineering teams to ensure ISR systems are integrated into military operations in alignment with mission-critical requirements.
Responsibilities
SIL Operations and Testing Management: establish readiness, conduct readiness assessments, manage day-to-day SIL operations, coordinate integration testing, and validate system performance.
Configuration Management and Baseline Control: establish and maintain CM procedures, baselines, design freezes, and as-built documentation reviews.
Quality Assurance and Installation Oversight: provide QA during SIL setup, ensure data quality and test integrity, and enforce safety and cybersecurity requirements.
Documentation and Partner Coordination: generate verification documentation, manage acceptance of SIL results, track partner development, and coordinate interfaces.
System Development and Integration: contribute to system specifications and architecture, support system-level testing, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure MIL-STD and FMS compliance.
Field Support and Customer Interface: provide on-site support, serve as technical point of contact for U.S. Army and foreign clients, assist with training materials, and participate in risk assessments with mitigation plans.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related STEM field.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in applied systems engineering with focus on integration and testing of complex systems; experience managing integration laboratories and test facilities; experience with ISR technologies such as EO/IR, radar, SIGINT, or similar sensors; proven CM and QA experience.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on ISR system integration/testing on military platforms; strong understanding of communications and data processing; laboratory management, test equipment, calibration; ability to rapidly learn new engineering tools.
Tools and Management:
Experience with MBSE and configuration management tools; knowledge of MIL-STD/MIL-PRF and FMS; cybersecurity for secure facilities.
Communication and Leadership:
Strong verbal/written communication with military and international partners; ability to coordinate across organizations; travel to military installations and overseas locations as required.
Additional Requirements:
Eligibility for U.S. government security clearance (Secret minimum) or current clearance; experience with FMS contracts and international operations is desirable; ability to work in a dynamic, multinational environment; CDRL and contract deliverable experience preferred.
