Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent Carpet manufacturer in Glasgow, VA area, is seeking Material Handlers to join their team.
Material Handler Creeler:
2nd or 3rd shift with shift diff
Check and sort all return yarn from Tufting. Rewind yarn on Gilbos and Backwinder. Place empty tube on winder. Wind packages, sent from winder assistant, onto tube. Doff full packages and place in yarn box for Tufting. Fan off winder. Aspirate all skinners ½ inches or less. Inspect, sort, and dispose of damaged tubes. Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision Follow all established standard operating procedures Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary Perform other tasks assigned by management
Material Handler Qualifications:
Be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. Requires reading, writing, adding, subtracting, ability to operate powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks and follow instructions. Background Drug Screen Steel toe footwear Why Peoplelink?
