Responsibilities
Our Sales Directors (Community Relations Directors) are responsible for:
Achieving and maintaining a high occupancy percentage. Maintaining the sales tracking system for the community and keeping the General Manager (GM) and Director of Sales informed of trends. Working closely with GM and Business Office Director (BOD) to ensure accurate reporting of community census via integrated CRM/accounting system (Yardi). Managing the entire sales process: building prospect base, immediately responding to prospect inquiries, generating tours, following up, and securing deposits for move-ins. Assisting in transitioning the move-in process to the GM, Assisted Living Administrator, and other department heads upon receipt of deposit and agreed move-in date. Developing and implementing innovative sales/marketing plans. Developing community outreach plans and relationships with referral sources to generate viable leads and a positive community reputation. Collaborating with the Director of Marketing on media advertising, sponsorships, and marketing opportunities. Coordinating with the Activities Director and Executive Chef to plan events that benefit residents and attract potential residents. Conducting competitive shops and reporting findings to leadership; staying aware of competitors and market conditions to inform strategy. Providing promotional recommendations based on competitive analysis and aligning with corporate vision and mission. Managing the marketing budget for community items such as events and outreach. Serving as Acting General Manager if assigned.
Qualifications
Four-year degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or Communications preferred. Three-plus years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in a related field.
Physical Requirements
This role requires regular use of a computer and may involve occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs), bending, or reaching. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
