Project Manager
based in San Jose. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, working directly with clients, and keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish. If you're a natural problem-solver with strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering excellent service, this role could be a great fit. Key Responsibilities Lead onsite move and installation crews, ensuring adherence to timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards. Conduct pre-move meetings and client walkthroughs to establish project expectations. Interpret installation plans, manage staging and setup, and oversee safe material transport. Document and manage change orders to maintain project scope and budget. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Resolve service issues efficiently and professionally to ensure client satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to support client retention and business development. Perform post-project audits to identify improvement opportunities. Supervise and train crew members, fostering a culture of accountability and respect. Estimate labor, materials, and equipment requirements for project execution. Submit timely updates and reports to senior leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; project management or logistics certifications are a plus. Minimum of 3 years experience managing commercial moves, relocations, or furniture installations. Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with clients in fast-paced environments. Skills & Knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CAD/AutoCAD knowledge preferred. Familiarity with office furniture systems such as Steelcase, Herman Miller, and Haworth. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail. Other Requirements Valid driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle policy requirements. Willingness to travel locally and work overtime or weekends as needed. Location:
