Cheese Plant Sanitation Worker- Middlebury, VT

Overnight Hours: 7
PM to 7AM with 4-on-4-off rotation

Summary:
The Sanitation Workers break down, prepares, and sanitizes equipment related to whey/cheese production in compliance with company policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:
Works in a safe manner following all required safety procedures including but not limited to wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Effectively utilizes sanitation equipment, e.g., hoses, chemical foaming systems and equipment wash systems which require computer entry.
Working as part of a team, keeps pace with sanitation activities which are timed as the production process concludes.
Ensures sanitation quality standard activities are met to ensure all production systems are ready for startup. Properly follows standard operating procedures for all sanitation activities.
Able and willing to work in a warm & loud environment of Whey plant only.
Must be able to push, pull and lift up-to 50 pounds.
