The Youth Partner establishes and implements support services for children and youth, serving as a liaison for their involvement and offering support as needed. Essential Functions

Serves as consumer representative to program activities Engages in one-on-one relationships for skill-building Provides introduction and engagement support for families entering services Coordinates with the management team in program development and implementation Participates in consumer advocate training Provides linkage of families with appropriate services and advocates for them when necessary Minimum Required Education and Experience

High school diploma/GED required Must be a former consumer, caregiver, or relative of a special needs child who has received services from a child-serving agency Lived experience (Foster youth, System of care) Position/Program Requirements

Reliable transportation required Must be physically and mentally fit, with willingness to complete TB and drug screening tests Must be willing to complete a personal background investigation Flexible schedule required, with possible nights, weekends, and split shifts Physical Requirements

Able to work in office or outdoor environment, with standing, walking, running, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, balancing, and lifting up to 25 pounds Able to perform Pro-Act Restraint Techniques, CPR, and First Aid as trained Able to sit for prolonged periods in a vehicle for traveling up to 100 miles
