How you will change lives As a Patient Care Specialist at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role in a dedicated team that delivers exceptional care to patients suffering from renal failure. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN), you will assist in a range of treatment activities, ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients. What you'll be doing Patient Care:

You will engage directly with patients, providing high-quality dialysis treatments. Your responsibilities will include: Gathering patient statistics before and after treatments. Initiating and monitoring treatment processes. Terminating treatment and collecting blood samples as per physician orders. Technician Duties:

Your commitment to quality will be reflected in your preparation of machines for hemodialysis, thorough cleaning and disinfection of equipment post-treatment, and regular safety checks as mandated by quality control protocols. Safety and Quality:

Employing the appropriate safety measures, including personal protective equipment, you'll ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations. Participation in mandatory staff meetings and ongoing education is essential for continuous improvement. What we're looking for High school graduate or equivalent. A passion for healthcare and patient care. Experience in a healthcare role such as dialysis, phlebotomy, or CNA is advantageous. Comfort with mixing acids and bicarbonate as per established protocols. Ability to distinguish all primary colors. Other requirements: Successful completion of USRC-approved training program within 8 weeks of hire, demonstrating competency in hemodialysis theory and practice. CPR certification required within 90 days of hire, as directed by state regulations. Patient Care Technician certification must be earned within 18 months of hire and maintained according to state regulations. Are you ready to make a difference?
