AWS Life Sciences Applied AI is seeking a visionary Principal Product Manager to lead the development of applications that reimagine the experiences of life sciences researchers. As part of the AWS Applied AI organization, we have a vision to provide business applications, leveraging Amazon’s unique experience and expertise, that are used by millions of companies worldwide to manage day-to-day operations. We will accomplish this by accelerating our customers’ businesses through delivery of intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that solve enduring business challenges. As Principal Product Manager, you'll lead pioneering product development for AI-driven protein design and antibody engineering. You’ll guide a team of product managers to invent and simplify on behalf of life sciences researchers and define novel, generative AI agent based experiences to help those researchers accelerate drug discovery. Key responsibilities include: Leading product development for AI-driven protein design and antibody engineering Guiding a team of product managers to invent and simplify on behalf of life sciences researchers Defining novel, generative AI agent based experiences to help researchers accelerate drug discovery Basic qualifications: 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market) Preferred qualifications: Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Structural Biology, or related field, or equivalent industry experience Demonstrated understanding of protein structure prediction and design tools (e.g., AlphaFold, RFDiffusion, ProteinMPNN) Experience with drug discovery workflows and therapeutic development processes, particularly in antibody development Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
