Capgemini We are seeking a skilled Test Architect with strong expertise in Python and API automation testing, especially within System Integration Testing (SIT) environments. This role involves close collaboration with development and QA teams to ensure robust test coverage and seamless system interactions through automated testing. Your role
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and API testing using tools like Selenium, Postman, RestAssured, JUnit, and TestNG. Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate end-to-end workflows, service dependencies, and data flow across integrated systems. Design and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements, ensuring thorough validation of application behavior. Automate API testing for REST, SOAP, and GraphQL services, including validation of responses in JSON and XML formats. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution across environments. Report and document defects, test results, and maintain test artifacts for traceability and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide feedback, and continuously improve test processes and frameworks. Your skills and experience
Strong experience in functional and API test automation. Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI/SOAPUI Pro, and RestAssured. Hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Groovy for scripting and automation. Solid understanding of SQL/PostgreSQL for backend data validation. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and project management tools like JIRA. Preferred skills:
Knowledge of cable and telecom industry systems and workflows. Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
