Customer Service Representative 1

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Opens new accounts, refers, and cross-sells the company's products and services • Participates with branch management in maintaining a customer-focused environment and developing new ideas to increase business that will help achieve customer relationship objectives • Provide exceptional customer service • Opens new accounts for bank products and services and expands existing customer relationships through cross-selling or referring products and services to the appropriate areas • Assists customers in person or by phone with Bank products and services to develop new business and to retain or expand existing business • Maintain and balance cash drawer, balance and service automatic teller machine, and assist with night deposits • Works with branch management to implement activities to ensure branch profit goals are achieved • Assists the branch management team in coaching and training the teller staff to help develop skills and achieve branch sales goals • Works with branch Tellers on warm hand-off procedures • Assists branch personnel with operational duties and on Teller line as needed • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent required • 2+ years of experience in financial industry preferred • Ability to effectively utilize a computer and other standard office equipment • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing • Must maintain a friendly, courteous and professional demeanor • Customer service and cash handling skills required
