This role is based in San Francisco or New York and is open to candidates who can be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid model. Responsibilities
Conduct exploratory data analyses and develop proof-of-concept machine learning models to identify opportunities and potential project impact. Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, engineering, design, legal, trust and safety) to design effective ML solutions. Analyze and prepare training data, including crowdsourcing data labeling techniques. Train and iterate on ML models using novel techniques. Deploy ML models to production and write backend code when necessary to properly deploy the model. Debug models when observability reveals performance gaps and iterate on models. About You
Experience in an end-to-end ML team environment: data analysis, building and iterating models, shipping to production, monitoring performance, and A/B testing. Clean, robust code in Python or other languages; strong attention to code quality in reviews. Systematic debugging of complex systems. Curious mindset with ability to dive into datasets to understand product and customers. Strong communication skills and clear documentation. Growth mindset and commitment to improving soft and technical skills. Passion for building systems early and empowering creators with ML solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent). About Patreon
