Our client is one of New Jersey's most well respected general contractors. They have a large backlog of heavy civil, highway, bridge, tunnel and utilities experience. Job Description
Project Planning:
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
Budget Management:
Estimate costs, manage budgets, and ensure financial efficiency.
Resource Allocation:
Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment needed for construction.
Team Leadership:
Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the main point of contact between clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
Progress Monitoring:
Track project milestones and adjust plans to stay on schedule.
Problem Solving:
Address delays, risks, and unexpected issues promptly.
Quality Control:
Oversee inspections and ensure work meets the required standards.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and approvals.

The Successful Applicant
8+ years of experience in Construction Project Management
Heavy civil construction experience preferred
Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
