Overview
The right person for our Community Relations Director role (aka full-time community sales lead) is a “hunter with a heart.” The Community Relations Director is responsible for the overall sales strategy and is an individual who creates and drives business for the community by exceeding community occupancy projections. Goals and responsibilities focus on networking, building partnerships, and targeting high-growth opportunities. The position provides oversight to event marketing both internally and externally. This role is home-based at the specific Thrive community and will require some travel by car to build a referral base/sourcing partners with local community health care providers and the professional business community at large. A reliable mode of transportation and a safe driving record are mandatory.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve occupancy projections for the Thrive community.
Engage in networking, build partnerships, and target high-growth opportunities.
Provide oversight to event marketing both internally and externally.
Travel as needed to build a referral base and sourcing partners with local health care providers and the professional business community.
Maintain a reliable mode of transportation and a safe driving record.

Possess a genuine heart and passion for impacting people and improving their quality of life.
Have at least two years of experience in sales/business development or graduated from a sales program and a demonstrated ranking in the top 10% of a sales team.
Be approachable, an engaged listener, and a great communicator.
