Job Summary As a Senior Bridge Engineer in our Boston office, you will work alongside experienced professionals, tackle complex technical challenges, and contribute to projects that define infrastructure excellence across the Northeast. You will lead the structural design of transportation infrastructure and coordinate with agencies, clients, and contractors.
Responsibilities
Lead the structural design of complex and conventional transportation infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, and walls.
Oversee and review engineering reports, calculations, and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Collaborate with state agencies, municipalities, and design/build contractors to develop tailored solutions.
Play a key role in business development, including leading/assisting proposals, engaging with clients, and presenting innovative solutions.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of structural design experience in bridges and transportation infrastructure.
PE License required, preferably from Massachusetts.
Experience with development of calculations using Excel and Mathcad; proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
Expertise in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, CSI Bridge, VBridge, LEAP Bridge, LPile, and related tools.
Experience with MassDOT projects is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits TYLin is committed to pay equity. Base compensation range: $117,300 - $192,000 annually, depending on experience and local market. TYLin offers a comprehensive total rewards package including medical, disability and life insurance, continuing education benefits, paid time off, employee assistance program, and a retirement plan with company matching contributions.
