United Wound Healing . This position is classified as: Salary, Exempt; Full-Time or Part-Time employment. Hours: Typical hours are Monday through Friday; 6:00am – 3:00pm, no nights, weekends, or call. Responsibilities
Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams Travel to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds and house calls, in an assigned region Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies to assess changes to patients’ health care needs Perform bedside wound care skills including: wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor control, and minor surgical procedures Track the progress of wound healing and document timely in UWH’s own wound care EMR Develop a treatment plan for skin and wound conditions based on the individual needs of each patient, and UWH’s Clinical Practice Guidelines Collaborate virtually with medical leadership including board certified physicians and surgeons specializing in wound care, dermatology, podiatry, vascular surgery, and infectious disease Qualifications
This fast-paced position requires standing for extended amounts of time Driving! You must have reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and current auto insurance Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, ARNP, APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in working state Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license 1-2 years of wound care and/or surgical experience (highly preferred, but not required); extensive training available Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work/schedule appointments independently Must be trustworthy, honest and have a positive and professional attitude Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people through both verbal and written communication lines Compensation and Benefits
Compensation Range:
$128,000.00 - $140,000.00 This position is classified as: Salary, Exempt; Full-Time or Part-Time employment Associate working 20+hrs per week: Medical/Dental/Orthodontic/Vision/RX – minimum 80% towards employee monthly premiums covered, dependent coverage available at employee’s expense Employer Sponsored Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance Voluntary Supplemental Insurance: Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness, STD, Life, Identity Protection, Financial Wellness, and Legal Plan coverages available Paid Time Off: Accruals up to 172 hours (21.5 days) your first year of employment based on 1.0FTE status 8 paid Holidays for full-time employees 401(k) match on first 4% Continuing Medical Education Malpractice insurance Mileage Reimbursement Core Values that promote work-life harmony Paid training and advanced certification in Wound Care Work with amazing people who have created a culture where we recognize each other’s wins and don’t tolerate gossip or drama Additional information
