Dietitian, Oncology Description: RESPONSIBLE FOR: This position provides nutritional consultation to cancer patients across the continuum of the cancer experience including primary prevention, cancer treatment, secondary prevention, cancer recurrence and palliative care. Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field of study from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) accredited program. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three (3) years of clinical experience working in acute care with nutrition support, specifically enteral nutrition preferred. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Registered Dietitian-Commission on Dietetic Registration. Current Licensure in the State of Georgia as a Dietitian ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Work experience in oncology/cancer nutrition counseling preferred. Strong communication skills. Skilled in use of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and associated software programs. Experience with Epic software preferred.
