Lead Senior Systems Administrator (Unix / Linux)
TMC Technologies is searching for a Lead Senior Systems Administrator (Unix / Linux) to join our team on a bid effort to provide Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure support services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). This position requires a TS or TS/SCI clearance. Work is expected to start in August 2026. The primary place of performance is Dahlgren, VA. Job Requirements: TS or TS/SCI Clearance Six (6) years of professional experience in UNIX and/or Linux system administration of networks and software systems. Experience in the following areas: System backup and recovery Basic software management Security management and library management Installation and configuration of hardware Operational systems and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software; operating computer systems in different operating environments; and sizing, performance, tuning, hardware/software/network trouble shooting and resource allocation. Network protocols including TCP/IP and major network security tools such as firewalls, knowledge of computing and networking vulnerabilities, attach methods, and latest detection methods.
