Summary Pasona is looking for a business consultant who analyze the needs and issues of potential and current clients, builds strong relationships with them to generate opportunities for business proposals and close the deals as well as improve customer retention, increase upsells, and obtaining referrals to ensure customer satisfaction. The business consultant collaborates with cross-functional members internally to deliver consistently excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Establishing and maintaining customer relationships

Visiting clients and potential clients either offline or online

Understanding the customer's business situation

Confirming customer satisfaction with services provided and matching expectations

Identifying potential issues and needs of customers and strategically provide solutions to meet their long‑term goals

Continuously communicate with the customers and collaborate internally to ensure the optimization of the customer experience

Proposing other services to upsell

Understanding service contracts and handle renew contracts with solving any issues in a timely manner

Listening to client feedback and bringing it back to the company for service improvement and development

Designing solutions for clients’ needs and/or issues with internal cross‑functional members

Preparing sales presentations and making presentations to clients and potential clients

Negotiating contracts with clients and potential clients

Preparing sales contracts for orders with contract specialist and submitting them to clients and potential clients

Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients

Answering client questions about credit terms, services, prices, and availability

Maintaining client records

Performing administrative duties related to business development

Performing special projects and other miscellaneous duties

Requirements Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Minimum 5 years of experience in business-related operation or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Experience as a project manager in system implementation is a strong advantage.

3 years of HR related or Accounting related or business consulting experience is preferred

Experiences in intangible sales is a plus

Ability to deliver presentations and to negotiate when needed

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Ability to visit multiple clients. (may also need to travel to different states)

Preferred Skills / Certificate

Excellent analytical skills

Use of AI tools(ChatGPT, Copilot etc...) in business

Basic HR or accounting knowledge

PMP certification is advantageous

Work Hour: 9:00-6:00 Local time (Hybrid work)

Location: Torrance, CA or Chicago, IL are preferred. Also available in either San Jose, or New York office.
