Actively hiring for production associates for a large Printing company located in Stratford, CT. This is a 4-6 month contracted job with the opportunity to join the company permanently as they ramp up these upcoming months. We are looking for dedicated workers who are open to working overtime. Shift: 1st - 6:00am-6:00pm, 2nd - 6:00pm-6:00am - Monday - Friday
Job Description:
This role involves sorting and preparing outbound packages in accordance with USPS standards. The Cleanroom Technician ensures all outputs are produced and verified based on specifications, assisting in the processing of daily scheduled jobs and maintaining quality control standards.
Responsibilities:
Sort and prepare outbound packages according to USPS standards.
Confirm that all outputs are produced based on specifications and verify them before leaving the facility.
Assist the Mailing Distribution Manager in processing scheduled jobs.
Ensure all outputs are sorted in appropriate USPS containers.
Use a scanner and computer to verify job counts into proprietary software.
Scan EOBs and booklets to ensure 100% piece count before mailing.
Perform QC inspections on each job according to departmental guidelines.
Verify successful submission of reprints by other departments.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve manufacturing goals.
Perform general housekeeping, including trash removal and facility upkeep.
Essential Skills:
Experience navigating web browsers.
Basic math and reading skills.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work well individually and in a team setting.
Safety-conscious mindset.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Quality-oriented focus.
Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical activities such as walking, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and bending.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Familiarity with cleanroom environments.
Experience in general production or packaging.
Machine operation experience.
