Senior Home Lending Advisor - Brooklyn, NY

Join our fun, high-energy team as a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending and leverage your knowledge of home lending products to support customers throughout the loan lifecycle. You will be supported by the Home Lending team and will maintain regulatory compliance while marketing Chase financial products. This position provides a pathway for career growth and impact on the business. Job Responsibilities
Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services. Works with bankers, meeting with their customers and introducing new clients to bankers for additional products and services. Partners with the team to create an outstanding customer experience using marketing efforts such as direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell initiatives, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, and outbound lead sourcing. Develops strong partnerships with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations within footprint territories and works within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships. Positions themselves as the internal and external mortgage expert; builds and maintains relationships with customers and provides recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and understanding of customer needs, goals, and circumstances. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Minimum three years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking. Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
FHA/VA sales experience. Marketing, promoting, relationship-building, and consulting skills. Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate. Regulatory and Compliance
This position is subject to the Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment offers are contingent on review of criminal history, credit report, NMLS information, and other factors to determine fitness for the position. Felony convictions within the last seven years will disqualify candidates. Employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements and successful NMLS registration and ongoing updates. Upon active employment, you will be required to register with or update your NMLS record and ensure compliance with the SAFE Act.
