The Trade Merchandising Specialist
plays a key role in the US Trade/Display Marketing team, managing the end-to-end process of planning, development, and execution for in-store displays that support SharkNinja’s product portfolio. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to consolidate and interpret data, providing actionable insights into display performance, milestones, and opportunities for enhancement. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Trade Marketing, the Specialist operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to ensure the seamless production and delivery of impactful displays across multiple retail partners. The position emphasizes detailed planning, production, and execution, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and retailers to meet deadlines and uphold high standards of execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Display Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with China Planners and NPD Planners to manage display builds and ensure all specifications (AW, PIS, ID Specs) are uploaded
Partner with Sales teams to align on display needs, quantities, and timelines
Communicate distribution display lists to ensure 100% accuracy in handling and delivery
Oversee creation of in-store fact tags, display labels, box prints, club pallet mock-ups, and other display materials
Support development of merchandising strategies for all accounts
Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor display commitments, milestones, and program statuses; address corrective actions as needed
Provide production timeline updates to key stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
Assist with forecasting, order tracking, and shipping coordination with sales, supply planning, and demand teams
Conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues related to display inventory, account orders, and shipping status
Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration:
Conduct reviews with vendors to ensure timely delivery and clear expectations on timelines and quality
Manage receipt of CAD files and oversee internal/external approval for display structures and assets
Collaborate with product development, creative, and brand teams to meet vendor requirements
Ensure retailer guidelines are followed and maintain display setup sheets within retailer portals
Order and Logistics Management:
Manage PO creation and reporting for timely processing and delivery
Track display builds from vendor pickup to final delivery, ensuring smooth execution
Oversee SKU authentications and coordinate display setup in retailer portals
Monitor display orders and shipments to address discrepancies and ensure accurate timelines
Special Projects and Ad Hoc Duties:
Perform ad hoc analytics and support special projects as needed
Assist in kickoff of new display projects with cross-functional teams, managing critical production and delivery steps
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent professional experience
0-2 years of professional experience, preferably with exposure to retail or merchandising environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate, actionable insights
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and create impactful reports
Proactive and innovative mindset with a willingness to improve processes
Salary and Benefits The annual salary range for this position is $75,150 - $91,850 USD. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, holidays, and additional programs subject to eligibility.
