HD Supply Overview: The General Manager at Redi Carpet is responsible for overseeing all branch operations, including Sales, Administration, and Operations. This leadership role involves full P&L accountability, strategic planning, team development, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Develops new business opportunities via the Sales team and maintains relationships with key customers. Oversees strategic action plans for direct reports and ensures all company policies and procedures are followed. Manages monthly sales meetings and establishes local pricing strategy. Recruits, hires, develops and mentors all direct reports. Oversees P&L statements for the branch and achieves budgeted sales and income goals. Drives compliance with all company initiatives and supports regional and national account programs. Manages monthly sales projection report and develops annual sales and expense budgets. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field. 2+ years of management experience and/or sales management experience. Education and experience guidance: typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline; generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. Certification or an advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines. Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move; there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
