What you’ll do
Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of new features across Android platforms, including mobile and TV.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Kotlin code using Coroutines and Jetpack Compose.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring of junior engineers.
Continuously improve performance, reliability, and developer experience across devices.
Advocate for best practices in Android development and contribute to technical decision-making.
Who you are / What you’ll bring
Strong experience in Android development with a deep understanding of the Android SDK.
Proficiency in Kotlin, including Coroutines for asynchronous programming.
Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.
Solid understanding of architecture patterns (MVI, Repository pattern, Interactors/Use Cases).
Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Ability to mentor and support other engineers.
Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or interest in cross-platform development.
Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt or Dagger).
Experience with performance optimization, accessibility, and analytics.

The base salary range for this role is $137,300—$251,800 USD. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as stock-based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement benefits, disability coverage, life insurance, well-being benefits, tuition assistance, parental leave, vacation and holidays, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
