The City and County of Honolulu is seeking applicants to fill a position for a Structural Engineer V at the Department of Permit and Planning.
Base pay range $104,472.00/yr - $135,144.00/yr
This position pays an annual salary of $104,472 - $135,144.

Duties The person in this role will work under the general direction of the Chief of Building Safety in conjunction with the administration and enforcement of the codes by the Building Division, in the study and evaluation of plans, codes and materials and methods to be used under the codes. Supervises the work of structural engineers and others assigned.
Experience requirement One year of registered professional (post-bachelor\'s degree) structural engineering experience.
License requirement 1. Possession of a valid license as a professional structural engineer in the State of Hawaii. Applicants with a current out-of-state professional structural engineer license must obtain their Hawaii license prior to appointment.

A foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. We also reserve the right to request further information about your academic program, evidence of comparability, or an original transcript.
