Director of Tennis, Soccer & Golf

to lead StubHub’s Direct Issuance partnerships across global soccer clubs, tennis tournaments, and golf tours. This role focuses on developing direct inventory partnerships with professional teams, leagues, and event organizers—spanning iconic clubs, international tournaments, and emerging properties in each sport. You’ll manage the full partnership lifecycle: identifying targets, building relationships, negotiating terms, and closing deals. This is a relationship-first role requiring frequent travel to matches, tournaments, and events across the U.S. and internationally. You will report to the Head of Sports Partnerships and help scale StubHub’s inventory access across three global sports markets. Location : Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) – New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA. What You'll Do

Lead business development and partnership efforts across professional soccer clubs/leagues, major tennis tournaments, and leading golf tours. Own the full deal cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, contracting, and onboarding. Develop and maintain strong relationships with executives at clubs, governing bodies, event organizers, and rights holders. Represent StubHub at matches, tournaments, and industry events to drive growth and strengthen market position. Collaborate with internal teams across legal, marketing, operations, and product to activate and scale partnerships. Monitor industry trends, federation/league policies, and partner priorities to adapt strategies in real time. Track and report on pipeline health, partner performance, and revenue impact. What You've Done

10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial strategy, ideally in global sports. Proven track record negotiating and securing high-value commercial deals in or around soccer, tennis, or golf. Deep understanding of the global soccer landscape (club and league structures), the international tennis tour ecosystem, and leading golf tours and tournaments. Strong existing relationships across professional sports are a plus. Willingness to travel regularly to meet partners and attend events (up to 50%). Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. A strategic thinker who is also comfortable executing quickly and autonomously. What We Offer
