Overview CORTEK is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead the design and development of solutions within the BUMED operational SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and application environment. This role serves as a subject matter expert, managing all aspects of the portal, including design, development, testing, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security. The Senior Software Developer will guide the development team and provide expert-level solutions to address complex business needs.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert to manage all aspects of the BUMED operational SharePoint/Microsoft 365/application environment.

Lead the development, configuration, customization, and maintenance of BUMED HQ SharePoint/Web, Microsoft 365, and other applications (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow).

Design and develop complex pages, sites, lists, forms, and workflows based on stakeholder business needs.

Propose and implement changes to make the SharePoint environment and web applications more effective solutions.

Ensure all development complies with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) SharePoint environment requirements.

Maintain current industry knowledge of advanced development concepts, best practices, and procedures (SharePoint Framework, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).

Ensure all source code is considered the property of BUMED and is available on government IT systems.

Job Requirements and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other computing-related disciplines.

At least seven (7) years of experience with applications development.

Required Certifications

CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SharePoint Application, Salesforce.

Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification requirements.

Extensive experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 development, with a portfolio of complex projects.

Expert-level knowledge of SharePoint Framework, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must possess a minimum of an active Secret security clearance.
