The Membership and Customer Service Specialist serves as the head of Customer Service and Memberships for the Scott K. Ginsburg Fitness Center at the Georgetown University Law Center. The position oversees all Front Desk Operations at the Fitness Center including staffing it during all hours of operation and overseeing all transactions that come through the desk and software. The position also initiates all GMS financial requisitions for the Fitness Center. Work Interactions
This position will work closely with the Director of Operations and Risk and other University Departments. This position has direct oversight over 6-10 student or temporary employees. This position will have significant interaction with Students, Faculty, and Staff. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or departmentally related field. A minimum of 3 years in physical education, health management, or other related field. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of current fitness standards and trends, fitness programming, intramurals, and aquatics. CPR/AED Certification Required Certified Pool Operator Certification preferred. Group Exercise or other Fitness certification preferred Work Mode

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $44,022.00 - $73,406.80 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
