Physician, Otolaryngology - Oncologic/Free Flap Surgeon (San Francisco) Opportunity to join Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) as a fellowship-trained head and neck oncologic surgeon/microvascular free flap surgeon in a cohesive OHNS department based at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco, CA. The practice combines community-based private practice with the support of a large multispecialty organization and an integrated team of physician assistants and nurse practitioners. SWBMG has a multidisciplinary team including head and neck oncologic surgery, microvascular free flap surgery, laryngology, facial plastics, neurotology, and general ENT, with plans to expand subspecialty recruitment and maintain a strong focus on academic work in research, education, mentorship, and leadership within the health system. Responsibilities
Provide full-spectrum head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular free flap reconstruction. Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with radiation oncology, medical oncology, radiology, pathology, dermatology, oral surgery, endocrinology, and nurse navigators. Perform procedures including microvascular free flap reconstruction, thyroidectomy/parathyroidectomy, neck dissection, parotid/salivary gland surgery, oral cavity resections, mandibulectomy/maxillectomy, transoral robotic approaches, skin cancer excisions with sentinel lymph node biopsy, laryngectomy, skull base surgery, and related reconstructions. Utilize clinic- and intraoperative ultrasound; supervise or collaborate with speech-language pathology in patient care. Balance clinical duties with opportunities for leadership, teaching, research, and participation in SWBMG/CPMC and Sutter Health initiatives. Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. Fellowship training in head and neck oncologic surgery with microvascular free flap experience and interest is required. Benefits and Employment Details
