As a tech lead for the mobile engineering team at Wispr, you will direct the technical architecture for Wispr's iOS and Android applications for voice dictation (and voice interfaces more broadly). You'll be responsible for designing technical architectures that scale for a voice interface, running growth/activation/monetization experience, and delivering at a high technical bar. Previous founding or startup experience Previous tech lead experience / staff software engineering experience Fluency in Swift and Kotlin, shipped multiple iOS/Android apps to large userbases User-focused design intuition and design taste Attention to detail and eagerness to learn Aptitude and clarity of thought Creativity, excellence in engineering, and code velocity Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
Built personal projects or contributed to open source in Swift/Kotlin Incredible attention to detail on design and animations Care towards code quality and UX Strong programming practices and high-throughput of code across the stack Outstanding team player and communicator We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.
