Full Stack Developer (Chantilly OR Herndon, VA) Join to apply for the Full Stack Developer role at Edgesource Corporation. This position is for work across the cloud-based software development lifecycle (front end, back end, database, etc.). Job duties are performed primarily onsite at either the customer location in Chantilly or Herndon, VA with limited remote work capabilities. Position Overview
Edgesource is actively seeking a
Full Stack Developer
to participate in development efforts to deliver a complete software solution. Job Duties
Work with the Chief Engineer and Technical Leads to translate requirements into user stories to incorporate new functionality into various software applications Develop and/or integrate with Infrastructure as Code DevOps tools to support cloud orchestration of software components Leverage AWS best practices to optimize code for cloud deployment with cost-conscious development and deployment strategies Design and implement all levels of the solution: data layer, application code, user interface Design and deliver APIs and integrations with other software systems and databases Architect for optimal use of enterprise infrastructure (cloud) and security requirements Programming/coding from the data layer through the application layer, through the user interface Decomposing functional requirements into technical specifications and tasks Developing and maintaining unit test scripts. Developing APIs and web services for integration between systems and data sets Working as part of an agile team to deliver software iteratively Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance 4-7+ years of demonstrated experience with the following: Application layer programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, C++) Database / Data Layer experience (e.g., SQL, unstructured data, MongoDB, Python, R, Elasticsearch, data management and analytics tools) Front end development skills (e.g., modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js, HTML, CSS, bootstrap, etc.) Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining systems on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Demonstrated experience with software development frameworks and languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Python, etc. and data management tools such as SQL and XML Experience developing front end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js, HTML, CSS, etc. Experience developing web APIs to interface with cloud applications and databases as part of cloud native software applications Experience in delivering the design and development of software applications Demonstrated experience in Agile / Scrum environments Working At Edgesource
