FEMA Corps AmeriCorps NCCC Team Leader - Winter 2026
FEMA Corps, a program within AmeriCorps NCCC, provides you with life experience and skills in the field of emergency management while you lead a team of 18-24 year olds, earn money for college, travel, and help communities. What to expect during your service
Serve full-time for 11 months
Lead a team of 8-12 young adults
Work closely with FEMA professionals in the sector of emergency management
Deploy to 4-6 projects across the country (transportation provided)

Member Duties
You will lead a team through administrative service in the areas of disaster response and recovery activities. Your team could be conducting data entry, mapping disaster evacuation routes, or helping sign up survivors for assistance, so adaptability is key.
As a Team Leader, you will be crucial to your team’s success. You’ll be responsible for directing, motivating, and mentoring a diverse team of young people. FEMA and NCCC staff will look to you for coordination of project logistics. Gain invaluable supervisory experience, challenge yourself, gain skills in emergency management.
