Regulatory Scientist (Ph.D. or M.S.) role at Exponent in Washington, DC. Work as part of the Chemical Regulation & Food Safety Practice to provide project management, regulatory and technical support related to FIFRA and related regulatory activities. Responsibilities
Managing and tracking client projects, project deliverables and budgets Interacting with internal project staff to discuss client projects, tasks, deliverables and budgets Interacting with clients as well as EPA and State regulators Gaining a strong understanding of FIFRA regulatory policy Preparing and submitting Federal and State registration applications Providing regulatory and technical review and quality control support for FIFRA and related projects Qualifications
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a Science-related field Experience with state and/or federal pesticide regulations Experience in a scientific and/or research environment is a plus Detail oriented, able to work independently, and manage time effectively Excellent communication, writing, editing and proofreading skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment Strong ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines Experience with project management, budget tracking, and invoicing a plus Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; MS Project a plus Discretion in handling sensitive information Entrepreneurial spirit is a plus Compensation
Salary range: USD $105,000.00 - USD $129,000.00 per year. Base salary, bonuses, and 401(k) employer contribution details are provided as part of Exponent’s total compensation package. Work Location
