FLSA Status: Exempt. Primary Responsibilities
Participates in routine LINAC calibrations. (essential) Performs routine clinical physics measurements (photon and electron) with assistance. (essential) Performs state mandated annual machine measurements. (essential) Responds to emergency request for machine measurements. (essential) Participates in the ongoing quality assurance program. (essential) Provides support to clinical physics activities (treatment planning). (essential) Participates in departmental research activities. (essential) In conjunction with the department's administrative director, optimizes billing and revenues. (essential) Provides assistance to the Chief of Dosimetry and Biophysics conforming to state regulations. (essential) Participates in billing procedures. (essential) Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Sciences required. American Board of Radiology preferred. 3-5 years related work experience required. Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems. Competencies
