The Consumer Group (CG) is transforming its Product Management function to drive innovation with velocity, customer-centricity, and data-informed strategic bets. Within CG, TurboTax is a >$4.5B business with significant growth opportunities. We deliver a category-leading online DIY tax software for nearly 40M filers, and there are 85M American consumers who could benefit from improved tax prep experiences.
What you'll bring
8+ years of product management experience, designing and delivering world-class software products with a proven track record of customer and business impact.
Experience building and leading a PM team (2+ years of management experience).
Deep customer empathy and a passion for solving complex problems; experience with consumer-facing products at scale is highly desirable.
Strong strategic thinking and ability to craft a vision and translate it into an actionable, outcome-oriented roadmap.
Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; proficiency in using data to define success, prioritize, and iterate.
Demonstrable technical depth and curiosity; ability to engage effectively in technical discussions with engineering and architecture teams. Experience with AI/ML-driven products is a plus.
Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, fostering collaboration and alignment.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of inspiring teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Bias for action and experience delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree required; technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or MBA preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
How you will lead This Group Product Manager role will lead the Core PM team responsible for delivering our flagship TurboTax DIY product experiences on stationary and mobile web. The team drives innovation and experiences to ensure tax changes are understandable and actionable for millions of consumers; improves core customer journeys to boost conversion; drives clarity and confidence for users in tax filing; and upholds high-quality usability across the product.
The Group Product Manager will set the vision and strategy, prioritize opportunities, and articulate a clear execution path for delivering these experiences. This role requires partnership with multiple internal organizations including other PM teams, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Tax, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success.
This role shapes the future direction of TurboTax; represents our Core experiences to leadership and has the latitude to shape and determine the roadmap to meet customer and business objectives. With the strong brand value and retention of TurboTax, this is an exciting product leadership opportunity.
This Role Is Accountable For
Leading the product vision, strategy, and high-level roadmaps to achieve customer and business objectives.
Partnering cross-functionally to deliver experience improvements and meet customer and financial targets.
Building a high-performance team and culture; attracting world-class talent and leading, developing, and inspiring them to innovate for customers.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California: $214,500 - $290,000. This position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender to drive ongoing fair pay.
