As an Enterprise Architect Sr within PNC’s Enterprise Architecture organization, the preferred candidate will reside and work in one of our Technology hub locations: Phoenix, AZ; Cleveland, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; or Dallas, TX. Responsibilities require time in the office with the opportunity for remote work at the manager’s discretion.

Key Deliverables
Build technology strategies and roadmaps based on CIO and CTO needs for technology standardization.
Create reusable architecture artifacts that manage technology standards deployed from a technology roadmap.
Develop common architecture patterns to ensure consistent design across the organization.
Contribute to an architecture organization that supports LOB and platform teams to deliver value.
Guide at various levels across the organization using metrics that reflect progress against cost and rationalization objectives.
Provide thought leadership in technology selection analysis to achieve organizational objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor interfacing with executive stakeholders to articulate business impact from technology decisions.
Engage with business and CIO teams to identify opportunities for reuse of existing standard capabilities.
Create architecture analyses with supporting artifacts to drive technology recommendations presented to senior management and business stakeholders.
Some Specific Accountabilities
Review proposed new technologies, including SaaS and PaaS, for portfolio fit.
Assess and manage changes to the enterprise technology capability model.
Participate in the EA, Data, and Security Communities of Practice and Working Groups.
Drive technology road mapping sessions and reference architectures for patterns.
Present to executive and director meetings to drive strategies and roadmaps.
Some Key Desired Skills
Enterprise systems thinking and broad understanding of managing to a capability model.
Strategic thinking and planning with a proactive approach to anticipate needs and objectives.
Experience on large strategic transformation programs.
Experience working in financial services with AI and Cloud technologies.
Personal skills: Communication, Relationship Building, Collaboration, Influencing.
Certifications in SAFe, TOGAF, ITIL, and Systems Engineering are desirable but not required.
Job Description
Provides subject matter expertise for enterprise architecture and guides on enterprise architecture projects and business relationship management.
Leads the implementation of enterprise architecture strategies and best practices to support business objectives.
Provides guidance on defining technical service capabilities, design attributes, and enterprise profiles; manages risks and solves complex issues.
Maintains relationships with stakeholders and provides consultations to shape future success while mitigating risk.
Directs teams in baseline, target and roadmap development, transition planning, system and security management, and segment architecture.
PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Qualifications Successful candidates must demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role. Below are typical areas of focus: education, work experience, and certifications.
Work Experience: 8+ years of industry experience is typical; higher education such as a Masters or relevant certifications is desirable. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
Education: Bachelors required; Masters preferred.
Certifications: Certifications in SAFe, TOGAF, ITIL, and Systems Engineering are desirable but not required. No specific required certification(s).
Pay Transparency Base Salary: $80,000.00 – $185,150.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
