KPMG US . KPMG is seeking a Senior Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. You will be part of a dynamic team at one of the world’s top tax firms, with a collaborative culture, access to Ignition Centers, and opportunities for formal training and mentoring. Responsibilities

Provide excellent client-facing service to multi-national, United States headquartered companies with global indirect tax issues, including conducting transaction analysis, supply chain reviews, assisting with business expansions, advising on mergers and acquisitions, and managing complex global projects Create responses to client proposal requests regarding global indirect taxes Prepare Value Added Tax (VAT) training presentations for external and internal audiences Identify, document, and recommend client business requirements for implementing VAT/sales and use tax compliance processes and system improvements Build and manage new and existing client and internal relationships Develop and mentor junior and new staff Qualifications

Minimum seven years of recent experience on global indirect advisory projects, including experience managing complex global projects Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field; licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, MTX, IIT VAT Compliance Diploma, CA, CTA, AITI, or CMI (or other approved credentials listed by the firm). If not held at hire, one year to obtain an approved designation Experience advising on and/or implementing systems projects whether ERP or tax engines Strong technical awareness of global indirect tax issues; understanding of key indirect tax processes and data drivers; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, or process mapping software Self-motivated with ability to plan work, manage project schedules/priorities, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and travel up to 30% of the time Additional Information
