PA Consulting . The PA Health Data Platforms team is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to play a core part of the software development, maintenance and delivery process. By applying ingenuity to the building of data platforms for the clinical and biopharmaceutical community, PA aspires to change the course of care across the medical spectrum. The team develops and maintains complex cloud-based systems to store and deliver sensitive clinical data to physicians, regulators, and scientists. We are looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team and ensure the highest quality standards for our products. Responsibilities

Develop and implement test strategies for end-to-end quality assurance in cloud-based data platform environments. Balance manual and automated testing efforts to ensure comprehensive validation of new features. Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to improve test automation, reliability and scalability of testing workflows. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to advocate for QA best practices and quality standards. Participate in test planning, design and overall QA lifecycle management, including functional, regression, exploratory and manual testing. Define and execute test strategies within agile frameworks. Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of working experience in software quality assurance. Programming & Test Automation: Proficiency in programming for test automation using Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript; hands-on experience with Playwright or similar tools; familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using frameworks such as Cucumber. API & UI Testing: Experience with end-to-end testing of web applications (API and UI). Test Management: Strong understanding of test planning, design, and QA lifecycle management; experience with functional, regression, exploratory, and manual testing methodologies. CI/CD & DevOps: Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and provisioning test environments; SQL knowledge for querying databases; Shell/Bash scripting to automate workflows. Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate QA concepts and insights. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
