Slash is looking for a
Design Engineer
to own the front-end experience of our product — from how it looks to how it feels, and how it’s built under the hood. You’ll be responsible for building fast, high-quality interfaces that bring complex financial workflows to life with clarity and precision, crafting smooth interactions, creating well-structured component systems, and collaborating closely with designers to get the details right. What You’ll Be Doing
Own the frontend stack for all of Slash's product. Work with designers (and design yourself) to ship beautiful and functional frontend experiences for our web product. Engineer and maintain our frontend infrastructure — everything from design systems to data management to performance. Foster and lead a culture of craft — you’ll be setting the standards for our UI and UX across the board. We’re Looking For Someone Who
Is proficient in JavaScript and CSS Is thorough and obsessed over the tiniest of details Has a great sense of design — can think through product flows that make sense while making sure the UI looks and feels amazing Can ship high quality and performant code that scales as the frontend grows and more complexity is added What’s In It For You
