Education

Completion of Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician's Assistant.

Certification, Registration & Licensure

Licensure required: NH License as APRN or Physician's Assistant, Current DEA License

Responsibilities

Obtains patient health history, performs physical examination, and develops a relevant differential diagnosis. Orders, interprets, and follows up on diagnostic tests. Diagnosing acute and chronic medical problems within the scope of practice or formulating a comprehensive differential diagnosis. Prescribes and manages medications within the practice standards. Provides individualized patient education related to preventive care according to guidelines. Meets productivity standard of the practice/department. Documents care provided in the medical record according to department standards.
